My Kids Ideas Blog

My daughter recently started playing violin, so naturally she needed a fun sticker for her violin case.

That inspired us to start creating more Orchestra Cat stickers—cute cats playing instruments from across the orchestra.

One of the things we especially like doing at MyKidsIdeas is creating stickers for instruments that don’t always get much attention. Violin and cello are easy to find, but what about bassoon, euphonium, oboe, viola, French horn, or other less commonly featured instruments?

We think every musician should be able to find something that represents what they play.

Our Orchestra Cats are great for instrument cases, water bottles, laptops, music folders, notebooks, and small gifts for orchestra students, music teachers, and musicians.

And if you don’t see your instrument yet, just ask us! We’re always looking for ideas for the next cat to add to the orchestra.

Browse the Orchestra Cats collection and see who has joined the ensemble so far.

We’re excited to start this blog as a place to share some of our sticker designs, a peek behind the scenes, and the random creative projects we’re working on as a family. To kick things off, we’re featuring one of Inara’s very first designs—Mr. Hot Dog—which we turned into a sticker. In the photo, Inara is modeling a prototype t-shirt we made to test the durability of a DTF print. Before introducing any new product, we like to make sure it feels right to wear, that the print quality is up to our standards, and that the finished piece will hold up over time. We’ve been experimenting with a small heat press, and we’re looking forward to offering kids’ sizes soon!
